Ready to make 2015 the year to achieve all of your New Year's Resolutions? Well, get off your tush and let's make a change. Checkout Darren Hardy's first 3 steps on Conquering Your Dreams. It may not be rocket science and no, it's not a quick fix but let these steps resonate inside of you and always, believe in them:
STEP 1: HUNGER
You gotta be HUNGRY. Wanting is not enough. Are you sleeping, eating, dreaming about your goals? Do you have something to prove? This is that deep burning desire to succeed and CONQUER your dreams. As Jack London said, “You can’t wait for your goals to be realized. You have to go after them with a club”. Answer this, what do you want and why?
STEP 2: NO EXCUSES
Simple right? Yet we always can easily find them and let them change our thinking. Your life is 100% in your hands. The people around you, your social status or the actions you take are not defined by your childhood or the economy. They are defined by you. What happens to us doesn't define us, how we react to them does. Next action (yes, please grab a pen and paper) - write down why you're not very good at something, cross it out, and then write because of me. Now, how will you change that? Remember it's not what happens to us, but how we react.
STEP 3: HARD-freaking-WORK
Were you hoping for a quick abracadabra chant? Our dreams wouldn't be dreams if they didn't take blood, sweat, tears, and HARD WORK. Pull yourself out of the statistic of those who are still dreaming and become someone who LIVES their dream. It's not rocket science, as Abraham Lincoln said, “Things may come to those who wait… but only the things left by those who hustle.”
